Plot Synopsis

Grace attends a holiday party at Will's mother Marilyn's home and accidentally breaks a treasured Lladro figurine. Will convinces Grace not to tell his mother and to blame the accident on one of the other guests at the party. Elsewhere, Karen's stepdaughter, Olivia, comes to stay for the Christmas holiday and Karen pawns her off on Jack, who fits right in with the teenage girl and her friends.

• This is the first episode to be broadcast in high definition in widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio on NBC-HDTV.
• f/k/a "E-mail Trouble" during production. The NBC synopsis included the plot point "an e-mail gaffe dogs Grace, fearful that she missent a nasty note to Will's mom."
• This is the first and only appearance of Stan's daughter, Olivia. She is staying with Karen while Mason and his mother go to the hospital to remove fat from his stomach to put it into her butt.
• Paolo Presta won his walk-on role from Oprah on her "Oprah's Wildest Dreams Show".
